Setting up recurring transfers: a step-by-step guide

If you're sending money to the same person every month — rent, school fees, family support — manually repeating the same transfer is a small, recurring chore that's easy to forget. Here's how to set it up once and stop thinking about it.

Step 1: Save your recipient once

Add your recipient's details through Send Money → Add recipient. Once saved, their delivery method, account details and preferred currency are stored securely, so you never re-enter them for future transfers.

Step 2: Choose your schedule

Step 3: Set a rate guard, if it matters to you

For recurring sends where the exact received amount matters — like a fixed rent payment — you can set a rate guard that pauses the transfer and notifies you if the exchange rate moves more than a threshold you choose, rather than silently sending at a worse rate than expected.

Step 4: Review before it renews

You'll get a notification 24 hours before each scheduled send, with the option to skip, adjust or cancel that occurrence without affecting the rest of the schedule. Recurring transfers can be paused or cancelled at any time from your account — nothing is locked in once it's set up.
